The project was a good opportunity for me to fully realise that i am skilled at Adobe Animate. Other projects have challenged us to learn new things and the outcome isnt always something polished and functional. I feel like i have achieved that with this project. Although there could be some refinement in some places, i was able to find my confidence with the software.
I had no struggles when it came to coding. I knew exactly what i needed to do to get the desired effect. This was due, in part, to completing previous projects and having them be functional. But it was through trial and error that this came to be. I had often struggled with understanding Actionscript 3 in the past but that lead me to want to know more.
If i have the time before submission, i would like to add the sounds i wanted too. This just may increase the over all effect of the project.
Researched played a part in the asthetic of the piece. I found a fondess for the Post-Internet art movement and enjoy the idea of it. Breaking the conventional on something most of us see every day can be fun. It shows a deep understanding of how technology works and how to manipulate it. I wanted to know more about the technology i use in order to change it into something unconventional. I displayed this within the project as at some points, i am able to make it do what Internet Explorer usually doesnt.
I am very happy with the outcome and i truely feel like i am proficient with Actionscript 3 and Animate.
